About Rex Lam

He is our founder. Here are some quick facts about him:

  1. He was born and raised in Hong Kong.

  2. He studied and worked in the United States.

  3. He is certified in ASIS CPP and CompTIA PenTest+

  4. He has a BS degree in Computer Engineering

  5. He speaks fluent Cantonese, English, and Mandarin; and basic Spanish.

On the reason why he founded this company, he said:

“I founded this company because I want to become an independent consultant and act for my client's best interests in terms of security. The company motto "Your Personal Security Consultant" is my commitment to my clients that they will always receive the highest level of service quality."

​

Career:

His parents bought his first computer in 1989, and that is probably why Rex had developed his passion in computers and eventually graduated as a computer engineer.

​

After graduating, he entered the security industry in 2004 working for a security platform company as a software engineer.  He continued into professional engineering services, system integration, and then he founded this company.

​

Through this rewarding career, Rex has gained extensive industry experience by serving the corporate world and has secured up to USD $70 million worth of sustained asset for a single site.  Some of the better known clients that Rex served: Microsoft, Lane Crawford, CLP, Apple, Global Switch, FWD Insurance, ABB, and Macquarie Bank.

Professional affiliations and life:

  1. He is the chairman of ASIS International Hong Kong Chapter

  2. He is an ASIS International Certified Protection Professional (CPP)

  3. He is certified in CompTIA PT0-002 PenTest+

  4. He served in ASIS Information Technology Security Steering Committee (2019-2023)

  5. He received his bachelor degree in computer engineering in 2004

  6. He received his MBA degree in 2011.

  7. He has three dogs (two died) and two tortoises; encounters wild boars on a daily basis.
